Akamai Intelligence played a hands-on role in supporting a NATO partner in Eastern Europe as it came under a state-sponsored cyberattack targeting its power grid, government data centers, and financial institutions.

Our team was on the ground, working side-by-side with the host nation, U.S. Embassy, FBI, CISA and various other US Federal Agencies. We helped identify and contain the threat, supported the host nation’s command and control and recovery effort, and helped rebuild the host nation’s critical networks from clean backups—restoring essential services and critical infrastructure in under 48 hours.

This wasn’t a drill. It was a real-world, high-stakes cyber defense mission—and we delivered.

  • FBI ITSSS-2 (Information Technology Supplies and Support Services 2); Ceiling: $8 billion; 2023 – 2033 (10 years). IDIQ vehicle for IT services and supplies supporting the FBI and Department of Justice.
  • Air Force BIM (Base Infrastructure Modernization); Ceiling: $12 billion; 2023-2033 (10 years); IDIQ vehicle focused on upgrading, modernizing, and sustaining Air Force base IT infrastructures around the globe.
  • DHA MHS EITS GSP (Military Health System Enterprise IT Services Geographic Service Provider); Ceiling: $2.5 billion; 2023–2033 (10 years); IDIQ to support enterprise IT services across military treatment facilities (MTF) worldwide.
  • USMC ISTC BAN (Installations and Systems Technology Contract – Base Area Network); Ceiling: $809 million; 2024-2029 (5 year base, 5-year optional extension); Provides E&I, IT systems integration, and support for USMC installations in the BAN region.

These PRIME contracts reflect our ability to rapidly deliver secure, mission-ready solutions across IT systems integration, OT cybersecurity, and engineering & installation—and the decades of trust we’ve built with the DoD and Federal Agencies, especially across the Pacific region.

Akamai Intelligence, as part of the SBA-approved DecisiveInstincts LLC Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture, proudly serves as a Small Business PRIME contractor on the following Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles:

  • GSA MAS (Multiple Award Schedule); Ceiling: No ceiling; Period of Performance: Continuous; awarded on a rolling basis; Provides a broad catalog of commercial products and services to federal agencies, including IT, cybersecurity, and professional support.
  • GSA OASIS+ (One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus) Small Business Set-Aside; Ceiling: No ceiling; 2024-2034 (10 years); A governmentwide IDIQ for complex professional services, including IT systems integration, program management, and logistics support.
  • SeaPort-NxG (U.S. Navy SeaPort Next Generation); Ceiling: $50 billion; 2018–2028 (10 years); Navy-wide IDIQ vehicle for engineering, technical, and programmatic services, supporting both the Navy and Marine Corps.

As a Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO)-owned 8(a) small business, Akamai Intelligence has been awarded multiple 8(a) sole source contracts supporting US NAVY, USMC, USAF and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (PACOM) missions across Hawaii.

These awards include IT infrastructure relocations, fiber optic upgrades, AV/VTC installations, and secure communications support for PACOM directorates (J3, J5, J8, and JOC), Pacific Fleet Headquarters, Marine Forces Pacific, etc. We were selected not just for our technical qualifications—but because of who we are and where we’re from.

Engineering and Installation

Our exceptional past performance with DoD organizations and Federal Agencies across Hawaii and the Pacific reflects the trust and confidence we have with our customers. What truly sets us apart is our Hawaii-based Engineering & Installation (E&I) workforce—the majority were born and raised in the islands. This is their home, and they understand the vital role the DoD and Federal Agencies play in ensuring regional security and readiness.

Our teams have supported projects on nearly every DoD installation on Oahu, delivering secure, mission-ready solutions for C2 facilities, SCIFs, data centers, and MILCON efforts. Most of our Hawaii-based personnel hold active security clearances, with several fully qualified to support and harden Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).

Our Successes

We have a proven track record in delivering Inside/Outside Plant (ISP/OSP) infrastructure, HEMP protection, and advanced AV/VTC systems for classified and unclassified environments. With direct and long-time support from major commands, including PACOM, Pacific Fleet, MARFORPAC, USARPAC, and PACAF, we ensure compliance and readiness across demanding environments.

Additionally, our Hawaii-based workforce has active security clearances and certified expertise (BICSI, RCDD, PE, OSHA, Leviton, and Corning). This enables us to execute in contested and logistically complex environments. Lastly, we have embedded support to key Navy organizations such as NAVWAR, NAVSUP, NAVFAC, and NAVSEA across projects requiring secure communications, audiovisual, and access control systems.
