Welcome to Akamai Intelligence LLC, an SBA-certified 8(a) subsidiary of the Malama Kaʻu Foundation—a 501(c)3 nonprofit Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) managed and fully controlled by Native Hawaiians born and raised in the State of Hawaii, with roots predating the arrival of Captain Cook in 1778.
To ensure authenticity and transparency, all members of our C-suite are registered and officially recognized as Native Hawaiians by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA)—the State of Hawaiʻi’s authority on Native Hawaiian ancestry.

I shaped our company’s culture to reflect what I learned over 28 years in uniform—flying hundreds of classified missions over the South China Sea and leading combat support missions overland Iraq and Afghanistan. In those environments, speed isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Delays cost lives, and indecision can be fatal. That reality drives everything we do at Akamai Intelligence.
Our company culture is intentionally radically simple—focused on solving our customer’s problems, accelerating decisions, cutting through bureaucracy, and delivering secure, mission-ready solutions into the hands of our warfighters.
