Welcome to Akamai Intelligence LLC, an SBA-certified 8(a) subsidiary of the Malama Kaʻu Foundation—a 501(c)3 nonprofit Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) managed and fully controlled by Native Hawaiians born and raised in the State of Hawaii, with roots predating the arrival of Captain Cook in 1778.
To ensure authenticity and transparency, all members of our C-suite are registered and officially recognized as Native Hawaiians by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA)—the State of Hawaiʻi’s authority on Native Hawaiian ancestry.

He has applied these principles throughout his career, from scaling Accelera Solutions into a $50M enterprise to driving growth at Xgility and AIS, and launching an NHO 8(a) small business at Broadleaf Services.
Joe brings deep expertise in federal market strategy, including SBA 8(a) and NHO advantages, cyber security, cloud modernization, AI/ML, software development, and aligning IT investments with mission outcomes. His leadership blends strategic vision with operational discipline—always anchored in relationships and shared mission.
